Rick Robertson - Elfers Christian School Principal

Principal’s Welcome:

Every person has a deep down desire to do something that will be considered valuable by others.  Some join the Peace Corps or a mission board, others volunteer their time to community projects.  As an educator for over 40 years I have been blessed to serve along-side some of the finest examples of servant-leadership there are in Christian education on several of our Florida coasts .  Now serving in my 12th year here at Elfers Christian, I am humbled by over 35 years of ECS history and the success this school has established in West Central Florida.  I find myself joining a legacy of pastors, principals, faculty and staff that had the vision to start the school in 1987.  These fellow educators sought to provide and sustain something special to the Christian community and the entire West Pasco County area . . . a quality education with a Christian World & Life View!

More important than that, I see a desire to give something of eternal value, something to the Lord for “eternity’s sake”.  I believe the Lord leads in the affairs of men and women.  I believe children are at the very heart of God and His most precious desire is to see children come to an early realization of their need for a Savior and how to live a life pleasing unto Him.  I also believe it is a privilege to be involved with leading others in that endeavor.  Like so many others before me I want to see God’s very best expressed through every classroom at Elfers Christian School.

This year will be yet another milestone in the ministry and development of our school.  I see what God has already accomplished and it excites me to dream of what He will ask of us in the future.  To you who may show interest or decide to come join the Elfers Christian School Family, I say welcome.  I believe it will prove to be a wise and prudent choice.  To the present student body, I say thank you for being a part of the Eagle Family.  You are a special group of young people and I know God has wonderful plans for your life.  To you parents, thank you for your support and trust as your principal.  May the Lord bless your sacrifice and commitment to Kingdom education in the life of your most precious gift, your beautiful sons and daughters. To the church and school staff, I covet your prayers and join with you as co-laborers for Christ - for our best efforts, and ultimately His honor and glory.

In His Service,
